Land Clearing
Land clearing is the process of cleaning vegetation for site preparation or to increase the value of your land. One such way to accomplish this is to use forestry mulching. This machine head allows us to cut, grind, and clear vegetative growth and saplings, leaving behind a shredded blanket over the soil. The material that is broken down can be reintroduced into the soil, making it richer and more fertile. Excavation & Dirt Work
Dirt work is a form of excavation that involves the moving and reshaping of soil or dirt to improve the appearance or function of the property. We do this with equipment and manual processes (chainsaws, shovels, etc.). A variety of different tools can be used for this type of work, depending on the job. We provide several types of excavation/dirt work services:

Grading Land
Simply put, this is a leveling of the surface. We can grade your land to achieve desired drainage by use of either moving dirt, or installing culverts.

Building Pads
The site where your new construction will sit needs to be cleared of debris, built up and leveled. We have the equipment needed to shoot grade, to ensure the site is level.

Digging Footers
Footings in new construction are critical, as the footing distributes the weight of the construction evenly across the entire structure so that it does not sink into the ground.

Landscaping
By the use of landscaping, a property can be made to me more appealing to the owner and can add value to the home. We can help achieve this by multiple means: dirt work, sod installation, and retaining walls. We can also remove unwanted, dead, or damaged trees/vegetation. Storm Clean-Up
Storm cleanup jobs involve repairing and managing the aftermath of tornado, flood, or other weather-related damage to structures and infrastructure. We have the ability to clean up downed trees, brush, and stump removal. We can work with your insurance company and always offer free estimates.

Deer Run Earth Works was a vision that was formed into an LLC in March of 2022. The company was founded by Vincent Lewis, Owner/Operator, Deer Run started with one piece of equipment and a goal that has turned into our Mission: Be honest, be fair, and give back to the community. That mission has continued to grow and is now a full time thriving business with multiple machines and operators.

At Deer Run Earth Works, LLC. we work primarily in the northwest corner of Alabama, the northeast corner of Mississippi and the southern area of Tennessee. We typically try to stay within a 75 mile radius of Rogersville, Alabama. We do this in order to keep our costs down so that you don't have to pay quite as much for the job to be done. However, if you live outside of this area, please contact us and let us at least give you a free estimate on your job or project.
